ZANZIBAR EXCURSION – 2015/2016
This itinerary is perfect for a honeymoon couple or those who desire a romantic getaway. It can also be used as an extension of safari in the Northern or Southern Circuits.
Day 1: ARRIVAL ZANZIBAR
Arrive at Zanzibar Airport then transfer to hotel in Stone Town. Dinner and overnight at Tembo Hotel
Day 2- 4: STONE TOWN TOUR / KIWENGWA
After breakfast, take the historical half-day (4-hour) Stone Town Tour or the exotic spice tour. Late lunch at hotel or local restaurant. Spend a leisurely afternoon by the swimming pool. Dinner and overnight at Hotel/Resort. For the next 2 days, transfer, after breakfast, by a 45 minute shuttle bus to the East Coast of Zanzibar. This area is famously known for the finest sandy beach on the on the East Coast of Zanzibar in an area known as Kiwengwa. We arrive at resort for lunch. Afternoon of leisure follows after lunch.Leisure and activities include snorkeling, windsurfing, sailing, scuba diving, dhow trips, etc. Dinner and overnight at Tembo Hotel /Mvuvi Resort.
Day 5: FLIGHT BACK TO DAR ES SALAAM OR ARUSHA
After breakfast or lunch transfer (about 50 minutes) to airport for flight to Arusha, Dar es Salaam or international destination.
